We are aware that most physicians do not make house calls. There are a large number of people who are homebound and find it difficult to get to the doctor’s office. We want you to know that Dr. Maniet and his staff still make house calls to homebound patients. If it has become too difficult to get to the doctor’s office and you would like your medical care provided in your home, please contact the office to schedule a house call appointment.

Allergy tests can help find out if your problems are caused by an allergy and what things you are allergic to. This will be helpful information to assist in staying away from the things that trigger your allergic reaction. We use either a skin test or a blood test to find out what you are allergic to.

Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment, or OMT, is a set of hands-on techniques used by osteopathic physicians (DOs) to diagnose, treat, and prevent illness or injury by moving a patient’s muscles and joints using techniques that include stretching, gentle pressure and resistance.

Knee pain is a common cause of discomfort and debility in millions of people.  A frequent cause of this problem is Osteoarthritis of the knee.  Osteoarthritis is an inflammatory condition of joints.  The chronic inflammation cause deterioration of the joint which results in pain and decreased movement.  Osteoarthritis cannot be cured, but there are ways to manage the pain and stiffness that results.

Non-drug trreatments may include physical therapy, exercise, and weight loss.  Some people may require surgial repair or complete knee replacements.  Another alternative, that we offer, is to treat the pain of osteoarthritis in the knee with Hyaluronic Acid injections.
